Remembering all Grandads, Grannies, Mummies, Daddies, Sons and Daughters who have given their lives for their county
We've had a great few weeks back at Pre-school. We began the term by welcoming a new member of staff, Mrs Georgia Whiter. Welcome to the team Miss Whiter!
The team were proud to show off their new displays and interactive planning boards to the children and families - more photos to follow soon.
We have been enjoying our book of the term, "The Gruffalo" and have had some fun in the forest during our Outdoor Learning this week - no sign of the Gruffalo there though!
This week introduced Ted to our children. Ted will be going home with different children each week as a reward for good behaviour - kind hands, good listening etc.. We hope the children will share their experiences in pre-school and the parents will post some pictures on our online system for all families to see. Happy adventures Ted!
Today we had a visit from a solider Colour Sergeant Kerridge.
He was one of the spillers who escorted us in Windsor. We presented him with a thank you card from the Pre-school.
We spent a wonderful morning with the RDA Windsor & Ascot Driving Group on Monday this week.
We were so proud of our little ones, who walked up from pre-school and were so well behaved. They listened very carefully as Sarah from the WADG told them all about caring for the ponies and gave them all a turn on their model pony, Morning Glory.
At the end of the session, each child was presented with a special RDA rosette to mark their 50th anniversary, and we were very pleased to present our donation of £50 raised during our Easter fundraising morning.
Thanks to Sarah and her team for giving us a fabulous time, to all the children who made us very proud, and to our parents for their continued support in our events, which enabled us to give this donation to this very special local charity. We look forward to visiting them again.
