This month we would like to focus on healthy eating. Please see the link below providing some examples for healthy lunch boxes.
Please can you try to encourage your child to have at least one piece of fresh fruit or vegetable in their lunch boxes 🍏🍊🍉🍎🍇🍐🍌🍓🍅🥬🥒🥕
We would like to also remind you that all grapes, blueberries, tomatoes and other similar sized fruit/veg, MUST be cut appropriately before putting them into your child’s lunch box. This is to help prevent your child from choking. Please see the picture below on how to cut them 🍇 🍅🍒
We are also a nut free setting so please can we ask that no nuts including peanut butter or pesto are in your child’s lunchboxes 🥜
Here is a little bit of information regarding a healthy lifestyle for children:
Birthdays 🎈 - If your child would like to bring something in for their birthday we are kindly asking that this could be a fruit or vegetable of their choice for them to share with their friends during snack time. We will no longer be handing out sweets or cakes due to our new healthy eating policy and allergies. 🍓🍌🍐🥒🥕🥭
