We would like to wish you all a wonderful Summer holiday.
A great big ” Good Luck” to all our school leavers for September. You will all be missed!
Autumn start for our returning children is Monday September 8th 2014.
After a busy week preparing for our pre-school trip, we are delighted to say that we had a wonderful time at the Forest School. After a rather stressful start (!) we had an amazing time building dens, playing hide and seek, eating our lunch in the woods and finding many forest creatures. Pop into pre-school if you can and take a look at the photographs! A big THANK YOU, must go to our Mum's and Dad's who joined us on the trip. We've heard that many of you were rather exhausted!!
This week, we will be concentrating on school preparation and transition. We will be reading lots of stories about going to 'big school' (if your child has a relevant book they would like to bring in, we can share it with the group) dressing up in school uniforms and playing school in our home corner. If your child already has their school uniform, we would like to encourage them to wear it to pre-school, but we can't guarantee that it will remain clean!

We will also be finishing off our 'World Cupcakes'. The children have thoroughly enjoyed creating cupcakes (non edible!) using colours inspired by the 32 teams taking part in the World Cup.They've also been busy talking about the countries and looking them up on our world maps. The only job left to do, is to turn them in to bunting in time for the final on Sunday!
