Royal Ascot Week. It's one of the highlights of our summer term. Waving to Her Majesty The Queen and the Royal Procession from the side of the road, or standing by the starting gates at the start of the races as we did last year. This year, we are celebrating in the same way as many, by dressing up and embracing be together, both in session and virtually, and creating some fabulous race day fun at pre-school. We have a fascinator and hat making competition and our budding young artists have created a wall of racehorses, with a portrait of Her Majesty The Queen. Horses stand at the ready on the starting line of a fabulous Playmobile race and the highlight of the day is our Live ladies Day Picnic for all our families today. Making memories and having fun...

Earlier this week, our lovely Mrs Shaw was Live on Air with Andrew Peach on the BBC Radio Berkshire Breakfast Show. During their live conversation Andrew invited The Queen to join in the pre-school's virtual Ladies Day Picnic via Zoom. Could this be a reality for our little ones who will miss waving to her Majesty this week?? The broadcast can be accessed via the link below. We were delighted to open our doors to all our pre-school children again from Tuesday 2nd June. We started with our first "bubble" and are opening to more children again from next week, so let us know your plans as soon as possible. Our little ones were amazing last week and all had a wonderful welcome from staff on their return to pre-school, sharing stories and news from the past weeks. We are so proud of them all.
