We hope you all liked the belated gifts the children made for Father's Day?!
This week, with so much sport happening at the moment, we've decided to engage in our own sporting fun! We'll be making obstacle courses and having races and games in the garden. We also hope to visit the allotment to tend our crops and work with children from Cheapside Primary school. Photos will be taken this week on Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday morning and Thursday pm. Thank you to everyone who came to the summer BBQ on Sunday, it was a lovely day with lots of sunshine after a soggy week. We would like to say a special thank you to all our wonderful helpers who did the shopping, helped to set up and clear away, manned the stalls, lent us their bbq's and gazebo's, donated cakes and cooked the food, we couldn't have done it without you!
We will be selling cakes, cans of drinks, bottled beer, fresh burgers and sausages and buns in pre-school, so if you would like to purchase any, please bring in some pennies! REMINDER: WE ARE CLOSED ON THURSDAY FOR THE EU REFERENDUM VOTING. This week, we will be making picnics with Mrs Clarke. The children will be learning how to make sandwiches to create the perfect picnic plate. Father's Day - don't worry dad's, we haven't forgotten you! We had such a busy week last week, making fascinators and going on trips to see the royal procession, that we didn't get any time to make you your surprises, so we'll be doing it this week. It'll be worth the wait! Show and Tell Aa Bb Cc Watch our phonics video now: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q3orQm3r-_4 Maths Challenge Can you collect different menus? What numbers do you see?
