Great fun was had by all last week, as we made and consumed, a myriad of pancakes!
This week, to celebrate World Book Day on the 6th March, we would like to ask all the children to bring in their favourite books to share; be they fairy tales, bed time stories, factual or informative or even their favourite magazines. As long as we can look at them together, we don't mind what they are! It's really important that every child is read to every day and if we can be a part of that, it's great.
All the children will be bringing home a book voucher to put towards a new book, so we hope you all enjoy discovering a new favourite.
We have also been asked by some of the children, if we can make "a real, erupting volcano" Good old Miss Kirk has volunteered to lead the project, so watch this space for the exciting news of its progress!
Every session this week, we will be practising the fire drill, so please re-assure your children that it's only pretend.

and vegetables for snack time?
Please could you forewarn the children that we will be practising the fire drill the week beginning 10th March. It will be on every session and is a very important routine for them to know. Please re-assure them that it is only pretend and not scary, as some of the little ones can get a bit wobbly. Thank you.
